‘NICHT FERTIG!’ (Not ready!) was written on a wall in Berlin. The background color off-white with a couple of cracks at the top. At the entrance of a Goa party, the wall separated the small alleyway in an industrial area from some train tracks. The words on the wall were kept in pale purple and looked a bit like a heading from a zombie movie poster. These two words are probably the essence, which in my opinion describes German youth the best: not ready for adult life and in a limbo between childhood and adulthood. An extended transition period, coming of age version 2.0. And only possible, because there is nothing much too fear about.
